Lake Easton State Park

Lake Easton State Park is a forested area in the Cascade Mountain foothills with extensive shoreline along its lake. The landscape includes spaces for swimming, boating, hiking, and camping across the seasons.

In the late 1800s, a major railroad tunnel was built through the Cascade Mountains at Easton to connect the eastern and western regions. This transportation link helped develop the area and later attracted recreational visitors.

The park draws visitors year-round for outdoor recreation: swimmers and boaters enjoy the water in summer months, while winter snow brings cross-country skiers to the trails. Locals and travelers alike gather here to spend time outdoors and experience the mountain landscape.

The park offers several lodging options from tent camping to fully equipped sites, with sections available for larger groups. Visitors will find the most favorable conditions during summer and early fall, while winter brings snow to the area.

The park limits motorized boats to 10 horsepower to protect the natural environment and lake ecosystem. This restriction creates a quieter water experience for all visitors.
