The Santa Barbara City Redevelopment Agency developed this retail center in 1990, with architect John Field leading the design of the structure.
The center maintains 70 stores and restaurants, combining national retailers with local boutiques in an environment that reflects Santa Barbara's architectural heritage.
Visitors can access the center through parking entrances on Chapala Street, with operating hours from 10 AM to 7 PM Monday through Wednesday, and until 8 PM Thursday through Sunday.
During winter celebrations, the center transforms its courtyard with artificial snow displays and hosts monthly painting classes for community members.
