Granlibakken is a ski hill and resort at Lake Tahoe with two surface lifts that let skiers exit midway to try different slopes based on their ability. The terrain includes runs for beginners through intermediate skiers and also serves as a jumping hill for winter sports activities.
The site began in 1928 when D.L. Bliss built a double toboggan slide in Snow Canyon, later known as Olympic Hill. In the 1930s, Norwegian skier Lars Haugen designed a ski jump here in preparation for a Winter Olympics bid.
