The Chartron family founded this restaurant in 1946 when Paulette Chartron and her brother René established a culinary legacy in the Drôme region. The founders created a dining destination that has served patrons for decades.

The restaurant participates in the annual Jean-Sébastien Bach Festival, blending classical music performances with dining experiences during summer months. Visitors encounter local culinary traditions presented alongside cultural events that draw people from surrounding towns.
