The site commemorates 72 revolutionaries who died during the March 29, 1911 uprising against the Qing Dynasty, led by Sun Yat-sen.
The cemetery combines Chinese traditional burial architecture with Western elements, featuring Baroque-style gates and Corinthian columns throughout the grounds.
The memorial grounds remain open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with dedicated paths connecting the main monuments and ceremonial spaces.
The memorial bridge features intentionally carved stone patterns that make visitors walk slowly with lowered heads, creating a natural moment of reflection.
