Yuexiu District

Yuexiu District spans 33.8 square kilometers across 18 subdistricts, containing numerous landmarks, public spaces, commercial centers, and governmental buildings within its boundaries.

The district area dates back over 2000 years when it served as the capital of the Nanyue Kingdom, later becoming an official administrative region in 1921.

The district maintains numerous educational institutions, including 14 century-old schools and 200 learning centers that reflect the strong academic traditions of Guangzhou.

The transportation network connects visitors to Guangzhou East Railway Station within 10 minutes and provides access to Baiyun International Airport in 15 minutes by car.

The Xiaobei neighborhood within Yuexiu has developed into a multicultural center with substantial African communities, creating an international atmosphere in this Chinese district.
