Oi Kwan Hotel

Oi Kwan Hotel is a 15-story Art Deco building about 64 meters tall standing along the Pearl River in Guangzhou. It combines modern architectural style with traditional design touches and includes a revolving restaurant that offers views from the upper floors.

The building was completed in 1937 and remained the tallest structure in Guangzhou for three decades until 1967. This period marks an important chapter in the city's transformation from a traditional harbor town into a modern metropolis.

Inside, the hotel retains furnishings and fixtures from past decades, including vintage telephones and traditional pieces that show how people lived and worked before. Walking through the corridors, you notice how the interior design reflects the tastes and habits of an earlier era.

The hotel sits on Yanjiang West Road with direct views toward the river and the city center, making it easy to reach on foot from the riverfront. The location allows visitors to explore the surrounding area and access different parts of the city without difficulty.
