Haixin Bridge

Haixin Bridge is a pedestrian walkway that connects two sides of the Pearl River with a curved design and modern engineering. It features paved paths, observation areas, and planted zones that invite strolling and resting throughout the crossing.

This was the first pedestrian bridge of its kind to cross the Pearl River, opening in 2021. It connects an art museum with a prominent city landmark, marking a new point in the development of the riverfront.

The bridge serves as a gathering space where locals and visitors walk and pause to enjoy views of the river and surrounding areas. Its design draws from local artistic traditions and creates opportunities for people to connect with the city in an active way.

The path is wide enough for several people to walk side by side, and there are resting spots with views of the river. Wear comfortable shoes, as crossing takes time to walk and explore along the way.

Along the walkway stand planted zones that create different activity areas and rest spots throughout the crossing. These green spaces give each section of the walk a distinct character and rhythm.
