Isleta Amphitheater, Open-air performance venue in Albuquerque, United States
Isleta Amphitheater is an open-air performance venue in Albuquerque that accommodates up to 15,000 people. The space features numbered seating sections as well as a large open grass area for concerts across different music genres.
The venue opened in 2000 as Mesa del Sol Amphitheater and received several new names over time, including ABQ Journal Pavilion. In 2013 it took its current name, Isleta Amphitheater.
The venue draws music fans from across the region who choose between seated sections and the expansive lawn area. Visitors decide whether to sit close to the stage or spread out on the grass for a more relaxed experience.
The venue sits on University Boulevard SE with ample parking for visitors. During events, food and drinks are available, and guests can choose between seated areas or the lawn depending on their preference.
A 2009 renovation significantly expanded the lawn area and increased the venue's overall capacity. This redesign transformed it into a much larger entertainment space than originally planned.
