Idaho Center

The Idaho Center is an entertainment complex with three main areas: an indoor arena, an outdoor amphitheater, and a specialized horse park for equestrian competitions. The indoor arena holds approximately 12,600 spectators and hosts concerts, sports events, and community activities throughout the year.

The complex opened in 1997 with the completion of the main arena, serving the region from its start. The outdoor amphitheater was added the following year, expanding what kinds of events could be held there.

The venue hosts the Snake River Stampede rodeo and serves as a gathering place for people who share an interest in Western traditions and equestrian sports. This role gives the location meaning within the regional community and shapes how locals use the space throughout the year.

The facility is located west of Boise and is easily accessible by car for most visitors. It is helpful to check beforehand which venue area is hosting your event, since the grounds include multiple separate spaces for different types of gatherings.

The venue has been home to the Idaho Horsemen, an indoor football team, since 2019, making it one of the few places in the state where you can watch this particular sport live. The team's presence adds a layer of regional sports identity that draws fans from across the area.
