Peets Hill/Burke Park, Public park in Bozeman, Montana, US.
Peets Hill/Burke Park is a public park situated on an elevated ridge with a network of gravel paths that span approximately 41 acres. The site offers views of mountains and downtown Bozeman from various vantage points throughout the property.
The land was originally platted in 1892 as part of the Electric Heights Addition with plans for 612 homes, but was never developed as a residential area. Instead, Gallatin Valley Land Trust efforts converted it into parkland and secured it for public use.
The park honors Chris Boyd, founder of the Gallatin Valley Land Trust, through a memorial trail and bridge that recognize his work in protecting the land. Visitors encounter these tributes as they walk the various paths throughout the site.
The park has multiple entry points with parking available at Church Street and Josephine Drive, along with public restrooms located at the Josephine Drive entrance. Direct connections lead to nearby art installations through paved paths from the Bozeman Library.
The grounds host approximately 220 plant species, making it a valuable refuge for local flora. This diversity supports the park's role as an important component of nature conservation in the region.
