Bogert Park

Bogert Park spans 7.5 acres at South Church Avenue, featuring open fields, a children's playground, and a covered pavilion for community gatherings.

John V. Bogert, the first mayor of Bozeman, owned the land that became a tourist park in the 1920s when the city purchased it from his heirs.

The park's performance shell, constructed in 1939, hosts weekly City Band concerts during summer evenings and serves as a central location for community events.

The facility maintains tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool, and extensive playground equipment suitable for children between ages 2 and 12.

Bozeman Creek flows through the park grounds, where recent reconstruction efforts have restored the stream to its natural ecological condition.
