Danielson Provincial Park, Provincial park on Lake Diefenbaker, Saskatchewan, Canada
Danielson Provincial Park extends across 33.64 square kilometers along the northern shores of Lake Diefenbaker, featuring sandy beaches and forest areas.
The park, established in 1971, received its name from Swedish-born provincial representative Gustaf Herman Danielson who served the local community.
The Visitor Centre displays educational exhibits about Gardiner Dam and southern Saskatchewan river systems, connecting visitors with regional water management.
Three campgrounds - Shady Lane, Bayside, and Elmview - provide electrical hookups, water access, washrooms, showers, and waste management facilities.
The park surrounds Gardiner Dam, one of Canada's largest earth-fill dams, while incorporating segments of the Trans Canada Trail network.
