Peter MacKinnon Building
Peter MacKinnon Building, National historic site at University of Saskatchewan, Canada
The Peter MacKinnon Building features a stone-clad structure with vertical lines, symmetrical massing, and decorative motifs in Collegiate Gothic architectural design.
Built between 1910 and 1912, this building marked the establishment of the first College of Agriculture within a Canadian university system.
The building's Convocation Hall, designed for 500 people, functions as a central location for ceremonies, concerts, meetings, and university gatherings.
Located at 105 Administration Place in Saskatoon, the building contains administrative offices, art galleries, and museum spaces for university activities.
The structure stands at the head of an oval-shaped green space called The Bowl, forming part of Canada's finest collection of Collegiate Gothic buildings.
