Duncan is a city in Stephens County, Oklahoma, located roughly 50 kilometers east of Lawton. The town center features traditional American architecture with historic buildings from different periods alongside more recent development.
A trading post was established in 1884 and grew into an important stop for travelers on the Chisholm Trail. The settlement later developed into a regional center tied to the broader story of westward expansion.
