Bahrain Bay

Bahrain Bay is a mixed-use development along the waterfront in Manama with three named sections: The Wharf, The Gardens, and The Park, connected by pedestrian pathways. The site contains the Four Seasons Hotel, residential towers, office buildings, retail shops, and underground parking.

Construction of Bahrain Bay started in the early 2000s as part of Bahrain's plan to transform Manama's waterfront into a modern urban district. This project marked a major shift in how the capital's coastal area was developed.

The ARCAPITA Building displays Islamic financial architecture through geometric patterns and traditional Middle Eastern design elements. These design features are visible throughout the development and shape how the space feels.

The area is easy to explore since the main sections are connected by linked pedestrian paths and open to visitors. It works best to visit early in the morning or evening when it is cooler, and wear comfortable shoes.

The area contains Water Bay, a complex with three 10-story buildings holding 600 apartments overlooking the Four Seasons Resort. This residential section is one of the larger waterfront housing options and offers a more private setting for residents and guests.
