A'ali West Burial Mound Field is an archaeological site containing hundreds of burial complexes from ancient times. Each mound features a stone chamber at its center, surrounded by circular walls and organized in small clusters across the landscape.
These burial grounds date from 2050 to 1700 BCE and belong to the ancient Dilmun civilization. Over time, the burial practices shifted from individual tombs to collective graves, reflecting changes in how communities handled their deceased.
