Zlín Castle

The castle is open to visitors from April to October, with guided tours available in several languages upon advance reservation. Visitors should wear sturdy shoes as the pathways to the castle include some steep sections.

From the viewing platform in the castle tower, visitors can observe Zlín's rational urban planning that was shaped by the historic Bata shoe factory. This juxtaposition of medieval fortification and modern city layout offers a rare perspective on the region.
