Sambas, Administrative region in West Kalimantan, Indonesia.

The regency extends across 6,394 square kilometers of terrain, encompassing coastal areas along the Java Sea and inland districts with numerous watersheds.

The Sambas Buddhist sculptures from the 9th century, discovered near Sambas Town, now form part of the British Museum collection in London.

The population of 648,181 residents includes Malay and Dayak communities, each maintaining their traditional practices and agricultural celebrations throughout the year.
