Point of Ayre Lighthouse, Coastal lighthouse in Point of Ayre, Isle of Man.

The 30-meter white cylindrical tower features two red bands and stands at the northernmost point of the Isle of Man.

Robert Stevenson designed and constructed the lighthouse in 1818, making it the first operational navigational structure on the Isle of Man.

The structure maintains its original Fresnel lens from 1890, supplied by the French company Barbier, Benard, et Turenne of Paris.

The lighthouse emits four white flashes every twenty seconds, directing maritime traffic with a visibility range of 19 nautical miles.

Due to coastal erosion and gravel accumulation, a secondary light tower called Winkie operated 230 meters seaward until 2010.
