Ducor Hotel

The Ducor Hotel is an eight-story building housing 106 rooms and positioned on a hilltop in Monrovia. From the structure, visitors can view the Atlantic Ocean and the downtown area of the city.

The hotel opened in 1960 and operated as a landmark establishment until its closure in 1989 at the onset of the First Liberian Civil War. Political instability during that period forced the facility to shut down.
