Schruns

Schruns is a market municipality in Bludenz District situated at about 700 meters elevation in an Alpine valley. The town centers around a main street with shops, inns, and homes, surrounded by mountain slopes on both sides.

The settlement developed in the valley and eventually gained the status of a market municipality in the early modern period. By the 20th century, it had grown into an established economic center within the region.

The town serves as a gathering place where local traditions and everyday life intertwine. Seasonal celebrations and community events here reflect the values and heritage of the Vorarlberg Alpine region.
