Diedamskopf

Diedamskopf is a mountain peak in the Allgäu Alps region of Vorarlberg, reaching 2,090 meters in elevation. The slopes here are served by multiple cable car systems that connect different levels of the terrain.

Cable car infrastructure was first built during the 1970s as winter tourism began to expand in the region. This development made the summit accessible and established it as a key point in Bregenzerwald.

Mountain restaurants scattered across the slopes bring together visitors and locals over meals featuring regional dishes from Vorarlberg. These gathering places with their open terraces create natural spots where people pause and take in views stretching toward Lake Constance.

You should prepare for changing weather conditions at higher elevations and dress in layers accordingly. The easiest way to reach the mountain is by using the cable cars that start from the valley below.

One of the longest continuous ski runs in Vorarlberg drops from the summit to the valley, descending more than 1,200 meters in elevation. This extended descent is accessible to skiers of different abilities and takes several hours to complete.
