Bildungshaus Salzburg St. Virgil

The St. Virgil Education Center incorporates multiple seminar rooms, conference facilities, and accommodation spaces within its modernist architectural structure in Salzburg.

Wilhelm Holzbauer designed this educational institution, which opened its doors in 1976 as a center for the Archdiocese of Salzburg's community programs.

The center houses numerous art pieces, including Josef Zenzmaier's bronze sculpture of Saint Virgil and Peter Pongratz's 180-square-meter wall painting Das Wirken des Geistes.

Visitors can access both educational facilities and hotel accommodations in the main building and the St. Rupert guesthouse, surrounded by a nature park.

The sculpture park displays works from international artists, while the Kunstraum St. Virgil regularly presents exhibitions curated by Hubert Nitsch.
