Villa Schmederer, Heritage protected villa in Aigen, Salzburg, Austria.
The building features a three-story facade tower, a hipped roof, and classical round-arched windows with decorative wrought iron work throughout its exterior.
Constructed in 1889 by architect Josef Wessicken for Ludwig Schmederer, the owner of Munich's Paulaner Brewery, who lived there until his death in 1935.
The villa contained a ballet school run by Friderica Derra de Moroda from 1950 to 1967 and served as a venue for Salzburg Festival performances.
The property includes additional structures such as a chapel, a gardener's house, a greenhouse, and a swimming pool added during the 2002 renovation.
In 1983, opera singer Luciano Pavarotti filmed a Christmas special at the villa during summer, performing with puppets from the Arlequin Theatre.
