Schloss Neuhaus is a hilltop fortress on Mount Küberg in Salzburg, sitting at around 500 meters elevation. Its medieval keep forms the core structure, with neo-Gothic additions made during later renovations.
History
The first recorded mention dates to 1219 under Konrad von Neuhaus, marking its early establishment. By 1424, Prince Archbishop Eberhard III. commissioned significant expansions of the fortress.
