Falkenhütte

The Falkenhütte stands at 1848 meters elevation near the Laliderer Walls, providing shelter and meals for mountaineers crossing the Karwendel range.

The mountain hut opened its doors in 1921 and underwent extensive renovations between 2017 and 2020 to enhance its facilities for modern visitors.

The interior features traditional Tyrolean wood-paneled walls, offering guests spaces to rest and socialize after mountain expeditions in authentic alpine surroundings.

Reservations for overnight stays must be made online, with the hut operating from mid-June to mid-October and maintaining a separate winter room for eight people.

The location serves as a central point between Großer Ahornboden and Karwendelhaus, with trails leading to multiple peaks including Mahnkopf and Steinfalk.
