Schloss Vogelsang, Protected heritage castle in Steyr, Austria.
The three-story castle features a rectangular layout with four corner towers and stone blocks forming the foundation level of the structure.
Josef Werndl commissioned the construction of Castle Vogelsang in 1873, sending architect Anton Plochberger to Scotland for design inspiration.
The castle served as an exhibition venue during the 1884 Industrial and Electrical Exhibition, showcasing technological progress in the region.
The castle now contains private apartments and visitors can only examine the exterior architecture from Preuenhueberstraße 14.
A glass house structure in the center of the roof illuminates the main staircase, while low windows from the 1920s mark the developed attic space.
