Largoz, Mountain summit in Tyrol, Austria
Located in the Tuxer Alps, Largoz rises to an elevation of 2214 meters between the Volders and Wattens valleys of Tyrol.
The mountain has served as a training ground for local mountaineers since the early days of Alpine exploration in the Austrian territory.
A traditional summit cross marks the peak of Largoz, following the centuries-old Alpine custom of placing religious symbols on mountain tops.
The ascent begins at Krepperhütte at 1400 meters, covering 3.3 kilometers through forest paths and steep sections to reach the summit.
During winter, the mountain transforms into a ski touring destination with multiple descent options through untouched woodland slopes.
