Kulm, Mountain summit in Styria, Austria
Kulm is a mountain summit rising within the Randgebirge range, positioned between Stubenberg and Puch bei Weiz in Styria. The terrain consists largely of forested slopes with scattered meadows and rocky outcrops visible throughout the landscape.
The area was developed through the creation of hiking routes that connect different sections of the region. These trails transformed the mountain into a destination for outdoor activities and recreational use.
The Kulmkeltendorf open-air museum near the parking area presents regional artifacts and information about the traditions of East Styrian communities.
The routes follow forest paths and dirt roads, which vary in difficulty depending on the chosen trail. Hiking is most enjoyable during warmer months when the paths are dry and well-maintained.
The summit provides views across multiple landscapes while featuring different terrain types, from 82 percent forest coverage to scattered meadows and geological formations.
