The Kameltheater Kernhof spans across an alpine setting with multiple viewing platforms and specialized areas for diverse animal species including Bactrian camels.
Herbert Eder established this animal theater in 2010, creating the first facility where camels perform in theatrical productions for an audience of 250 people.
The facility received the Lower Austrian Tourism Award in 2005 for introducing an innovative entertainment concept that combines animal performances with educational programs.
The theater operates from April through November, with daily shows during summer months and specific weekend performances in autumn from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
The center maintains white tigers, snow leopards, and the only group of albino coatis in Europe as part of international conservation initiatives.
