The facility received the Lower Austrian Tourism Award in 2005 for introducing an innovative entertainment concept that combines animal performances with educational programs.
The site is most enjoyable during warmer months when daily shows run regularly. During shoulder seasons, performances occur mainly on weekends, so confirming the schedule beforehand helps planning a visit.
The facility houses one of Europe's few groups of albino coatis as part of conservation efforts. White tigers and snow leopards also live here, making it a refuge for rare animals.
