Etzelsdorf Castle, Renaissance château in Pichl bei Wels, Austria.
The rectangular two-story castle features a wide hipped roof and stands at the western edge of Pichl bei Wels, flanked by two detached buildings forming a horseshoe-shaped courtyard.
First mentioned in the 1380s, the castle underwent major reconstruction at the end of the 17th century after being destroyed during the 1626 Peasants' War.
The castle served as residence for numerous noble families until 1929, when the last aristocratic owner bequeathed it to her long-serving cook, Josefa Pühringer.

From 1944 to 1946, the castle housed a children's home, commemorated today by a memorial plate displaying names of 13 infants who died during this period.
