Hochmölbing

Hochmölbing is a mountain summit in the Totes Gebirge with an elevation of 2,336 meters (7,664 feet). The peak features a limestone landscape with multiple climbing routes leading to the top.

The mountain has attracted climbers for a long time with routes that were developed and marked over generations. The region holds a deep history of Alpine mountaineering traditions.

Local mountaineering clubs regularly organize guided expeditions to Hochmölbing, maintaining traditional Alpine climbing practices and safety protocols.

From the top you get a wide view across the surrounding mountain peaks of the region. On clear days the Dachstein and Gesäuse ranges stand out in the distance.
