Theresian Military Academy Cemetery

The Theresian Military Academy Cemetery is a burial ground located within the historic academy grounds in Wiener Neustadt. The site features organized rows of marble headstones, various monuments, and a chapel constructed in the mid-1700s.

The cemetery was established in 1753 during the reign of Empress Maria Theresa for use by the military academy. Multiple expansions followed over the centuries to accommodate the growing number of interments.
