Dôme

Dôme is an indoor sports arena in Charleroi that holds approximately 6300 spectators across regular seating areas, premium lodge sections, and dedicated business zones. The facility features multiple entrance points designed to serve different categories of visitors efficiently.

The building first opened in 1992 as a tennis facility for the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy before being repurposed for broader use. A major renovation in 2002 transformed it into a multipurpose arena by adding a concrete dome structure.

The venue hosts the Spirou Basket Charleroi team's matches and has staged multiple ULEB Cup Finals between 2004 and 2008 for international basketball competitions.

The venue is conveniently located in Charleroi with multiple entry points that guide visitors to their designated seating sections. Arriving early during major events helps avoid long queues and allows time to find your assigned area comfortably.

During the 2002 renovation, engineers built an entire concrete dome over the existing structure while the venue continued operating. This technical achievement shows how modern engineering can transform a working facility without shutting down its operations.
