St Walburga Church, Modernist church in Zuid district, Antwerp, Belgium.
The rectangular structure without aisles exhibits clean architectural lines and stands as a representation of New Objectivity design principles from the 1930s.
The current building replaced the original medieval church, which stood near Het Steen fortress from 900 until its demolition in 1817.
The interior features stained glass windows by Eugeen Yoors and stone sculptures by Simon Goossens, reflecting Belgian artistic traditions.
The church opens daily from 09:00 to 11:45, with Sunday Mass at 10:30, and visitors can find it near the VELO-Antwerpen bike-sharing station.
The church incorporates principles of the Pelgrimbeweging movement, with designs by architects Flor Van Reeth and Jan Smits in 1936.
