The Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp occupies a converted grain silo from 1926, featuring multiple floors of exhibition spaces for international artworks.

The institution opened its doors in 1987 with 150 works from the Gordon Matta-Clark Foundation, establishing itself as a center for modern artistic expression.

The museum maintains a collection of 4,750 pieces from 700 artists, focusing on Antwerp's avant-garde tradition and socially engaged contemporary works.

Visitors can explore the museum Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00, with extended hours until 21:00 every Thursday for evening exhibitions.

The museum includes the Panamarenko House, a preserved residence donated by the artist in 2002, which underwent renovation to maintain its original features.
