The School Complex Linthout encompasses three distinct volumes arranged symmetrically around a central courtyard, featuring separate wings for boys, girls, and kindergarten classes.
Municipal councilor Louis Bertrand initiated the construction of this educational facility in 1902 to provide schooling access for working-class families in the Linthout area.
The interior spaces display intricate sgraffito work by Privat Livemont, incorporating natural motifs and daily life scenes throughout the building's decorative elements.
Located at Avenue de Roodebeek with coordinates 50°52'3"N, 4°22'51"E, the complex maintains its educational function while preserving its architectural heritage.
