The building, originally constructed in 1966 as the Banque Nationale de Belgique, underwent extensive renovation between 2009 and 2017 through architectural firms V+ and L'Escaut.
The center features regular film screenings, video game events, art exhibitions, and maintains an artist residence program to support creative development.
The facility includes multiple public meeting spaces, dedicated gaming areas in the basement, and accessibility features throughout the building complex.
The center incorporates a 600-meter riverside development with white concrete benches, ramps, and interactive play areas connecting to the urban landscape.
