Moulins de Ruysbroeck

The Moulins de Ruysbroeck is a former industrial mill building located along the Brussels-Charleroi Canal with a concrete structure and red brick exterior. Large French text remains prominently displayed across its facade, creating a distinctive visual element.

The mill complex opened in 1913 and operated continuously as a grain processing facility until 1987. This long period of industrial operation shaped the economic life of the region for many decades.

The large letters spelling 'Moulins de Ruysbroeck' remain visible on the facade, marking the French name given to this milling operation. This naming reflects the historical commercial ties that connected the area through the waterway.
