Viden, Mountain summit in Konyavska range, Bulgaria.

Viden is a mountain peak in the Konyavska range that rises to 1487 meters above sea level. The summit has a conical shape formed by layers of limestone and marl from the Triassic period.

The summit was previously known as Bandera until 1942 when it received its current name Viden. A radio relay station was built on the peak in 1969.

The peak is also called Achul, after the triangulation marker placed on the summit. Until 29 June 1942 its official name was Bandera, when it was renamed Viden. The road up is a 6.6 km branch off the Radomir–Kyustendil road, and the first 1.8 km are in poor condition.

Access to the summit is via a 6.6-kilometer road branching off from the Radomir-Kyustendil route. The beginning of this path demands careful attention and steady navigation.

The triangulation point on the summit gave the peak its other name, Achul. The radio and television station north of the top, RRTS Viden, began broadcasting on 4 September 1969 and reaches parts of the Kyustendil, Pernik, Blagoevgrad and Sofia regions.
