Wonderful Rocks, Natural monument near Asparuhovo, Bulgaria.

Wonderful Rocks is a group of three limestone rock masses forming needle-like pinnacles 15 to 50 metres tall on the bank of the Tsonevo reservoir, 4 km south of Asparuhovo. Wind and the waters of the Luda Kamchia River eroded the soft limestone into separate columns with vertical grooves and hollowed recesses near their bases. Three tunnels are cut through the rock along its length, carrying the road between Asparuhovo and Dobromir.

The needle-shaped rock masses were cut by wind and the waters of the Luda Kamchia River eroding soft limestone. On 17 February 1949 the formations were declared a protected natural monument over an area of 12.5 hectares, with changes damaging the rocks and surrounding landscape prohibited. Three tunnels were later dug through the rocks for the road between Asparuhovo and Dobromir.

Locals from the nearby village of Asparuhovo, known as Chengeni, call the formation "Tunelite" (the Tunnels) because the road between Asparuhovo and Dobromir passes through three tunnels bored along the length of the rock massifs. The name "Wonderful Rocks" is the official one used for the protected natural monument.

The site is free to visit year-round and requires no special preparations. Visitors can drive through the tunnel passages by car and explore the location at their own pace.

The three tunnels were dug through the rock so the road between Asparuhovo and Dobromir could pass; drivers cross the formation itself rather than going around it. The protected area covers 12.5 hectares and overlaps in part with the Kamchiyska Planina bird-protection zone.
