Wonderful Rocks is a natural formation of ten limestone towers reaching up to 50 meters high along the Tsonevo reservoir. Three tunnels cut through the rock formation and allow vehicle access to the site.
The site was shaped through natural water erosion over long periods, creating castle-like structures from the limestone. The government recognized its significance in 1949 and designated it as a protected natural monument.
