The water tower in Lozenets is a metal structure approximately 27 meters tall featuring an interior metal spiral staircase and a terrace with metal railings now covered in ivy. Inside, it holds a reservoir with a capacity of around 100 cubic meters that originally served the district's water supply.
Designed by German hydraulic engineer Franz Salbach, the structure was built between September 1928 and November 1929 to serve the rapidly growing population of Sofia. It reflected the modern engineering approaches of that era and supported the capital's infrastructure development.
