Братское военное кладбище, Military cemetery in Minsk, Belarus
The Military Brotherhood Cemetery spans 4.15 hectares in the Soviet district of Minsk, containing approximately 3,000 burial sites and military memorials.
The cemetery originated in the 1840s as a burial ground for soldiers who died at the Minsk Military Hospital and expanded with a new section in 1895.
The cemetery holds monuments to Belarusian writers Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolas, reflecting its role in preserving national literary heritage.
The cemetery grounds include maintained pathways, information plaques with soldiers' names, and a chapel dedicated to religious ceremonies and remembrance.
In 2010, the cemetery incorporated an obelisk commemorating Suvorov and Nakhimov military school graduates who perished in combat.
