Tyzienhaŭz Palace in Hrodna, Baroque palace in Hrodna, Belarus
The palace exhibits classical architectural elements with a symmetrical facade, large windows, and a prominent central entrance facing the city center.
The construction of Tyzienhaŭz Palace began in the 1770s under Lithuanian treasurer Antoni Tyzenhauz, who commissioned Venetian architect Giuseppe de Sacco for the project.
The palace represents the architectural preferences of the Lithuanian nobility during the late 18th century, combining European Baroque influences with local building traditions.
Visitors can access the palace grounds throughout the year, with guided tours available through the local tourism office in multiple languages.
Following multiple reconstructions, the palace underwent a transformation in the Soviet era when authorities added a hidden fourth floor for residential apartments.
