Savieckaja Street, Hrodna

Savieckaja Street extends for 500 meters through the central district of Hrodna, featuring preserved cobblestones and traditional architecture along its path.

The street underwent several name changes throughout different political periods, maintaining its original cobblestones from 1938 while adapting to modern urban requirements.

Local galleries, including Kryga, regularly present exhibitions of contemporary Belarusian artists, contributing to Hrodna's position as a cultural center.

The pedestrian-only zone contains numerous shops offering traditional Belarusian products, from handmade ceramics to local textiles and organic cosmetics.

The Museum of Smoothing Iron, located in a courtyard at Savieckaja 7, displays an extensive collection of historical pressing implements.
