Vortex

Vortex is a steel roller coaster where trains dangle below the track, traveling more than 2,300 feet of rail across the park terrain. The route follows natural slopes and turns sharply over water features, creating a path that flows with the landscape.

The coaster was built in 1991 by Arrow Dynamics and was one of the park's major early expansions. This addition signaled the park's commitment to offering advanced ride technology for thrill seekers.

Visitors experience the hanging train design as a core attraction that defines the park's identity for thrill-seekers. The swinging sensation beneath the track creates a memorable encounter that shapes how people talk about the ride with others.

Riders must be at least 122 centimeters tall to board; height requirements are clearly posted at the entrance. Wait times can build on warm weekends, so visiting early in the day or during quieter periods works best.

Unlike many roller coasters of its era, this ride skips loops but keeps the adrenaline flowing through its hanging train design. The coaster hits speeds around 90 kilometers per hour while completing its full course in just under two minutes.
