Montréal-Nord

Montreal-Nord is a borough on Montreal Island's northern edge that stretches along the Rivière des Prairies river. The area includes residential neighborhoods mixed with industrial zones and recreational spaces along the waterfront.

The area was founded as a separate town in 1915 and grew significantly after World War II with new housing and infrastructure. It later became a city and merged with Montreal in 2002.
