The CBC Tower is a television tower in Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel that rises 326 meters into the sky. It serves as the central broadcasting structure for radio and television signals throughout the Trois-Rivières region.
The structure was built in 1972 as the primary transmission point for Quebec's CBC network. Following an aircraft collision in 2001, it was completely rebuilt in 2003.

The tower broadcasts with a power of 9,300 watts and reaches communities throughout the surrounding area. It is visible from a distance and easy to locate by its prominent position on the skyline.
Following an aircraft collision in 2001, this tower was completely demolished using controlled explosives. This made it the tallest structure ever destroyed using this method.
