The Kingston Memorial Centre includes an ice pad, outdoor aquatic center, agricultural barns, softball diamonds, and a cinder track at 303 York Street.
The British Government acquired the land in 1841, and the center opened in 1951 to honor Kingston residents who died in both World Wars.
The Kingston Fall Fair, held annually at the Memorial Centre since 1830, attracts over 16,000 visitors each September with agricultural displays and entertainment.
The facility maintains multiple sports areas, meeting rooms, and event spaces, with convenient parking and public transportation access for residents and visitors.
Johnny Cash performed concerts at the Memorial Centre in 1958 and 1987, while The Tragically Hip played there in 1995.
